At the salon in the early 1970s, Leonor regularly saw scalps that had become extremely fragile as a result of the highly chemical haircare and coloring products used at the time. Drawing on his wife’s observations, Jean-Marie Greyl began work on a product to soothe scalps thanks to ultra-hydrating natural extracts and a very mild cleansing base. A pioneer of the low-poo movement, Crème aux Fleurs was born in 1973 and became one of the brand’s iconic products, used in the treatment protocols across the world.
